About Travis

I'm Travis Dobler.

I've spent most of my career in rooms where communication either worked or it didn't — and where the difference between the two had real consequences.

I started out carrying a quota. Actually selling, actually cold calling, actually sitting in the chair where a bad pitch means a lost deal and a rough end-of-quarter conversation. From there I moved into enablement — training sales teams at Citrix and Dynatrace, watching from the other side of the room, and building programs that helped people perform under real pressure. I’ve coached mainstage speakers at Adobe MAX, hosted Sales Kick Offs for 1,600+ people globally, and built onboarding programs that earned a 4.92-star rating and 87 NPS. The through-line isn’t the stages or the numbers — it’s that I’ve been in rooms where communication either worked or it didn’t, and I’ve spent a decade figuring out why.

After ten years of that, I started consulting. Tech companies, healthcare organizations, public sector, startups, mission-driven orgs. Different industries, different problems, same pattern: the best communicators in any room weren't the most polished. They were the most clear. And the most themselves.

That's what I build toward. Good communication that feels like yourself on your best day.

The stuff that shaped me

I live in Seattle and grew up in Florida. My mom is a public school teacher, which probably explains why I care so much about how people learn — not just what they know, but how the learning actually sticks. I'm outdoorsy, I do board sports, and I made a card game because I believe the best learning doesn't feel like school.

I grew up with a Cherokee and Chippewa step-dad who was also a Marine — which taught me early that identity, integrity, and how you carry yourself in the room matter more than any framework you memorize.

I work with founders, speakers, and mission-driven teams who have something worth saying and want to get better at saying it. If that's you — I'd love to talk.
